THE DAY TRIPPER STORY

It began in June 1969, my first trip down Highway One. Life was never the same. Since that day, I've been up and down the coast hundreds of times. Adventures held value beyond the destination. Going "off the beaten path" allowed me to explore the wonders of Big Sur and Hearst Castle Country.

Residing in Pebble Beach after 32 years as a Beverly Hills tennis pro, I am offering my services as your Personal Highway 1 Tour Guide. It's a breathtaking trip through our central coast! You will be safe and able to fully enjoy the scenery with me behind the wheel of a luxury Volvo sedan. You will receive lovely photographs from the trip.

Let me share with you our local galleries, restaurants and points of interest. Carmel, Monterey, Cannery Row, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach can also be included as part of the trip. It will be a day that will never leave you! Service is door to door.

TOUR COMPANY TURNS ONE

On June 11, 2006, The CCDT of PEBBLE BEACH celebrated it's first anniversary of showcasing the riches and beauty of California's Central Coast. Visitors enjoy a comfortable ride, learn the history of the area, and have their photos taken at attractive locations.

Proclaimed "The Best Way To See Big Sur" The Day Tripper was picked to host Ford Motor's "2007 Sport Trac Ultimate Road Test". This eight day "California Vacation Adventure" went to triathlete Matt Nuffort and his wife Kristen. Also aboard were noted National Geographic photographer Mark Theissen and two videographers

Dave Engelberg lead this caravan through rugged, but scenic roads of Big Sur, Hearst Castle Country, and Yosemite. The strength, flexibility, and durability of both the Ford and Mr. Nuffort were captured on nine hours of film.

Willing to take guests "where they want, when they want" the Day Tripper hosts wine tours and Hearst Castle day trips. Traveling from San Francisco to Los Angeles, it is now safer than ever to see the Central Coast.
